Donegal Road Safety Working Group have issued a statement today urging all football fans to be safe on the roads while travelling to and from the matches on Sunday.
Brian O'Donnell, Road Safety Officer said that “this is another opportunity to remind football fans about their Road Safety responsibilities. Fans should ensure the enjoyment of the game isn't followed by tragedy on the roads. All road users should make a commitment to change their behaviours and ask everyone to adhere to the rules of the road at all times".
He concluded by wishing all supporters a safe journey and enjoyable All Ireland Final day.
